Senior activities that keep life engaging
Although we often hear from residents that their social calendar is fuller than before, participation in the activities, programs and events planned are always a resident’s choice. Some residents prefer a relaxed pace, while others dive right into clubs and social groups. The beautiful thing about senior activities in our community: you can fill your days, your way!
Senior activities designed around you
Our Dynamic Living team works closely with residents to create programs that reflect their interests, passions and goals. From fitness classes to educational presentation to creative arts and volunteer opportunities, there is something for everyone. Because every resident is unique, every day can be too.
Stay active
Regular movement supports independence, confidence and overall well-being. Our fitness programs are specifically designed for older adults and can be adapted based on health, ability, mobility and interests.
Stay connected
One of the greatest benefits of community living is the opportunity to build meaningful friendships. Residents enjoy a variety of social activities every day, including happy hours, game and movie nights, hobby clubs, seasonal celebrations and themed events, as well as off-campus outings in the region.
Stay curious
Lifelong learning never stops. Through educational programs, guest speakers, discussion groups and art, music, and cultural programming, residents are inspired to continue learning, exploring and growing.
Stay grounded
Health and wellness involves more than physical health and social connection. For many residents, spiritual wellness brings purpose, comfort, hope and a sense of belonging. Country Meadows respects and supports each resident’s personal beliefs, values and traditions. Our campus chaplains offer worship services, bible studies, prayer groups, spiritual counseling, and holiday celebrations. Additionally, clergy members from the community often visit residents and participate in programming.
Stay in the know
Our community utilizes Lifeloop, a wellness platform for senior living communities, to communicate activity schedules and important campus announcements through TV monitors around campus, an in-room television channel and an app.
Cheers to fellowship at the Social Pour
The Social Pour is more than a happy hour. It is a purposeful social experience designed to bring residents together, foster meaningful conversation, strengthen friendship and encourage community. While alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and light snacks will be available, the primary focus is to celebrate what makes Country Meadows special—togetherness.
